Marketing Graphic Designer

At Schylling, we’re on a mission to create timeless moments of joy, laughter, and imagination for kids of all ages. Since 1975, our toys have been designed to spark creativity and deliver smiles, both delightful playthings from years past and innovative new items with a nostalgic appeal. We offer iconic brands such as NeeDoh®, LAVA® Lamp, Big Wheel®, Schylling hand puppets, Sea-Monkeys® and a variety of other toys that satisfy curiosity, encourage discovery, and help people find their best mellow and chill.

Job Overview:

As our Marketing Graphics Wizard, you excel at providing visual assets that not only meet the design specs, but also captivate the hearts of children and parents alike. Your creative talents will enhance our brand presence and drive excitement for our diverse range of toys. In this role, you will be responsible for the creation of a wide variety of engaging visual assets, to support the sales and marketing of our product line. You play a key role in shaping the visual identity and marketing positioning of our products. As the Marketing Graphics Designer, you will report to our Director of Marketing but work in daily collaboration with our Sales and Product Development teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design a wide range of engaging visual assets that support Schylling’s sales and marketing efforts—this includes everything from Amazon and eCommerce listings to promotional materials, trade show displays, product launch decks, press releases, digital advertising, social media content, and more. Each design should clearly communicate specific marketing messages using best-in-class graphic design principles such as hierarchy, alignment, contrast, and balance.  Your work should excite both kids and grown-ups, turning casual viewers into loyal fans.
  • Create and manage Schylling’s product catalogs, both print and digital, ensuring they’re not just informative but also imaginative. From layout to final production, you’ll craft catalogs that showcase our toy portfolio with clarity, creativity, and commercial impact.
  • Develop compelling content for Amazon, retail websites, and digital marketplaces, blending strong visuals with performance-driven design. You’ll balance storytelling with strategy to help our toys stand out in crowded marketplaces and convert curious clicks into enthusiastic customers.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Development, Sales, and external Marketing partners to bring brand campaigns, product launches, and seasonal promotions to life. You’ll be a key visual voice in shaping how Schylling’s products are seen and experienced across all touchpoints. This includes translating important product ideas and play patterns into visual stories that resonate with our core audiences (including both trade and consumer).
  • Own and maintain Schylling’s visual asset library—Creating, updating, and organizing everything from product photography and lifestyle imagery to design templates and brand files.
  • Champion brand consistency by developing and evolving our visual identity across all platforms and touchpoints. You’ll help ensure every design—whether for a trade ad, an influencer kit, or a DTC email—feels distinctly Schylling.
  • Take projects from concept through execution, including brainstorming, sketching, layout, refinement, and final production. You’ll handle feedback with a positive spirit, juggle multiple priorities, and hit deadlines without sacrificing creativity or quality.
  • Stay curious and informed, keeping a pulse on design trends, emerging pop culture, toy and kids’ media, retail aesthetics, and competitor branding. Your insights will help keep our creative direction fresh, relevant, and one step ahead of the industry.
  • Contribute to evolving our brand guidelines, offering updates and creative solutions as the Schylling brand continues to grow, innovate, and reach new audiences.
