Job Overview:
As our Marketing Graphics Wizard, you excel at providing visual assets that not only meet the design specs, but also captivate the hearts of children and parents alike. Your creative talents will enhance our brand presence and drive excitement for our diverse range of toys. In this role, you will be responsible for the creation of a wide variety of engaging visual assets, to support the sales and marketing of our product line. You play a key role in shaping the visual identity and marketing positioning of our products. As the Marketing Graphics Designer, you will report to our Director of Marketing but work in daily collaboration with our Sales and Product Development teams.
Key Responsibilities:
1.       Content Creation: Understand each toy’s unique charm and positioning to best showcase it through visual assets.
2.       Catalog Design: Manage all aspects of annual catalog process from concept layout through print production working collaboratively with all departments.
 
3.       Sales Presentations and Tradeshows: Prepare engaging booth design, display statements, presentation materials, pitch decks, and sell sheets to support our sales activities.
4.       Promotional Materials: You will be responsible for developing a wide array of promotional materials, print catalogs, email communications, press releases, and more.
5.       E-commerce: You will work closely with our commerce team creating visual content for Amazon and other online retailers. You will stay current on Amazon best practices and collaborate with our team to provide digital assets that elevate product listings, A+ content, and storefronts.
6.       Websites: Create visually appealing content for Schylling’s B2C websites.
7.       Social Media: Dive into the world of play, toys, social platforms, and trends to create content that resonates with the imaginations of our target audience.
8.       Asset Management: Maintain an organized, visual asset library that supports our sales team and external marketing partners.
9.       Photography: Ability to direct and shoot studio photography & video editing skills are a plus.
 
10.   Quality Control: Ensure all design materials meet quality standards, adhere to marketing objectives, and align with the company’s vision.
Qualifications:
·         Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field.
·         Previous experience in the toy industry or with consumer package goods.
·         Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite including, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
·         Strong understanding of marketing principles and consumer behavior and enthusiasm for learning.
·         Ability to work independently, but also collaborate and effectively communicate with internal team members and external partners.
·         Excellent creative and conceptual thinking skills.
·         Strong attention to detail, flexibility, and prioritization of workload to meet attainable deadlines.
·         Experience working in 3D rendering software and video editing skills, a bonus.
